Daniel Warren: Hello people, once again it is I, Daniel Warren; and of course, I'm bringing you a look into the sport of pro wrestling. Now let me not be rude and give a chance for the guest to introduce himself.
Timmy J: Hello, Folk's I’m Timmy J

Daniel Warren: And whom do you wrestle for, if you don't mind me asking?
Timmy J: Oh. [Laughs] I guess that would help. I wrestle for Steel rage Professional Wrestling (SRPW). It's based out of Oklahoma.

Daniel Warren: How long have you been wrestling in Oklahoma?
Timmy J: Well, I started Training in Feb of 2004. Dexter Hardaway trained me. Well anyways, I got my first match in May of 2004. So I would say about 8 months.

Daniel Warren: Have you had the chance to face your trainer yet?
Timmy J: Actually I haven't. Don't get me wrong I would love to wrestle Dex, but that chance hasn't came yet.

Daniel Warren: Hopefully the chance well come for the man that I heard was named "Rookie of the Year" for 2004.
Timmy J: Yeah, that's right and all I can do is thank the fans for that one.

Daniel Warren: Now how did it feel to get an award like that?
Timmy J: It felt pretty good cause I never expected to win. I mean we had some damn good “rookies" this year, and not only that I won Feud of the year against Chris Gazaway aka X-Cal and Match of the Year in a tag match, when I tagged with Bobby Dalton and Kenny Campbell to take on West Coast Inc. Also Kenny almost ended his career in that match, when he almost broke his neck.

Daniel Warren: How did that almost happen?
Timmy J: Well, in that very match Kenny landed on his neck, which cause him to pass out and be carried to the back, leaving Bobby and to wrestle a handicap match. Well, Kenny later returned later in the match and Kenny picked up the pin fall. The following show Kenny Wrestled Adam Thornstowe of WCI and he did a double stomp to Kenny’s head while his head was in between a chair. It was disgusting.

Daniel Warren: That sounds like it hurts. Have you, yourself gotten any injuries while wrestling?
Timmy J: Nope. Thank God.

Daniel Warren: What is the most brutal thing that you have seen while wrestling?
Timmy J: The Ladder Match on 12-02-05 Between Dexter Hardaway, Mitch Carter, Chris Gazaway and Cade Sydal.

Daniel Warren: Now as a wrestler and a fan, what did you think of that match?
Timmy J: As a fan and as a Wrestler, it was a very exciting match, and that tops off any match that I've seen live. I mean these 4 guys went out there and gave it a 110% to make all of those fan's happy. So I give that Ladder Match two thumb's up. And for the one's that missed it, you missed out.

Daniel Warren: Would you ever wrestle in a ladder match? And if you would, whom would it be against?
Timmy J: Wow. Well, I would say I think I would. And against whom you ask? Hmm, I don't really know. I guess who ever has the gold around their waist.

Daniel Warren: Sounds like a good goal. Now, have you always been a wrestling fan?
Timmy J: Yes, every since I was about 2 year's old.

Daniel Warren: Do you remember the first match you saw?
Timmy J: Not really. I remember seeing Earthquake, Tugboat, Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, and Ultimate Warrior on the show though.

Daniel Warren: Classics. Now what match made you decide that you wanted to take the path to becoming a wrestler?
Timmy J: It wasn't so much a match, it was a wrestler. Bret Hart.

Daniel Warren: What about Bret Hart made you want to lace up the boots?
Timmy J: Man, he was loved in my opinion. I liked his style of wrestling. I was a huge mark for him. I always had a goal to go to Canada and train in the dungeon. But that won't ever happen.

Daniel Warren: As a fan and as a wrestler, how do you feel Bret was treated by the sport?
Timmy J: He was no Ric Flair or anything; wrestling wise he was treated fair, but who his family was made who he was.

Daniel Warren: What are your thoughts on Owen Hart?
Timmy J: A very good worker and a respected man. I was very sad of his passing. He will be loved and miss in and outside of the ring.

Daniel Warren: Agreed. Now seeing as you have been a wrestling fan for a while, I'm sure you remember when we had a choice of ECW, WCW, and the WWE.
Timmy J: Oh, yeah! Who can forget that?

Daniel Warren: How do you feel the state of the sport was at that time?
Timmy J: Very good work wise and fan wise.

Daniel Warren: Do you feel with only the WWE around, that the sport maybe losing some of that luster?
Timmy J: Well, kinda, but hey, what can you say when you’re the best like WWE? But I'm pretty sure something will happen in the next few years.

Daniel Warren: Do you feel a lot of the things done in the Indy field are copied by the WWE or do you feel the WWE usually sets the trend for what is done in the Indies?
Timmy J: Well, yes and no. I mean a lot of times, things are based around or from the WWE.

Daniel Warren: Well after the way many of the Indy stars have been treated by the WWE, do you think the dream is still to wrestle for the WWE or have wrestlers started to change their aim?
Timmy J: True, they have been treated bad, that I've heard of. And no, I don't think so. It's been a dream of mine for so may years and it will always be a dream of mine. And for other wrestler's, well the ones I know still have that same dream. But really it's a dream just to wrestle.

Daniel Warren: Do you keep tabs on the wrestling scene overseas?
Timmy J: Not really.

Daniel Warren: Now a lot of wrestlers when they retire take positions behind the scene as bookers or trainers. Is this an option you've thought about taking when the time comes?
Timmy J: Oh yeah, I will. I love this business, and if I ever left, I most likely will be right back. [Laughs]

Daniel Warren: Now, even though you've only been in the sport for a short amount of time, is there a match that you've always wanted to wrestle in?
Timmy J: Yeah. A Steel Cage match.

Daniel Warren: Why a Cage match?
Timmy J: I don’t know. It's just been something I always wanted to do. Ever since I started wrestling.

Daniel Warren: If you could choose one wrestler, Indy or in the big time, to wrestle against in the cage, who would it be?
Timmy J: That's hard choice man. Probably X-Cal.

Daniel Warren: Why X Cal?
Timmy J: Well, he's a very, very good wrestler. I've had my fair share of matches with his alter ego, Chris Gazaway.

Daniel Warren: That would make for a breath-taking match. Now we've asked all the easy questions. Are you ready for the hard ones?
Timmy J: Yes, sir.

Daniel Warren: Highflying or Mat Wrestling?
Timmy J: Mat Wrestling.

Daniel Warren: Shoot or Storyline?
Timmy J: Half and Half. But I will go with Storyline.

Daniel Warren: Highspots or Submissions?
Timmy J: Submission.

Daniel Warren: WCW, WWE, or ECW
Timmy J: Ah, I knew it was coming. WWE

Daniel Warren: Timmy J or X Cal?
Timmy J: Timmy J, of course. [Laughs]

Daniel Warren: Good answer. The respect or a big payday?
Timmy J: Respect.

Daniel Warren: And there it is folks. A little inside look at Timmy J. Timmy, do you have anything that you want to say to the fans. Any shows or websites that you may want to advertise?
Timmy J: Yes, sir. My temp. Web site www.timmyj.50megs.com and www.steelragepro.com. SRPW is booked up for the next 3 months here in the Oklahoma area. Be sure to check us out. Have a nice day and God bless.
