As each year pasts, many respectable websites & publications post their own year-end awards and for being at the center of wrestling opinion, The Wrestling Voice is no different. Started in 2004, the TWV Wrestling Awards are designed to allow visitors to vote on the best of pro wrestling of the past year. Voting opens in December of each year and lasts until the end of the year with the results being announced in January. Voters vote on twenty-five distinct awards each year in a special section of The Wrestling Asylum, TWV's official forums. Voters put down their top three picks for each category with the first place vote getting 5 points, second place vote getting 3 points, and third place votes getting 2 points. Below is a full list of all the winners of each category dating back to 2004 and at the bottom is a list of defunct awards that were included in the voting for 2004 & 2005.
