Wrestler Jive Nyce (real name George Bullock) passed away tragically on May 24, 2006 due to an automobile accident when his car ran off the road and flipped into a river early that morning. He was a wrestler with the Richmond Lucha Libre promotion since August of 2003 where he played a cocky, arrogant member of Team No Respect. Many fans of RLL recall his outlandish entrances, promos, and excellent heel tactics that made him a mainstay in a promotion drawing record numbers in a city known for apathy towards live entertainment in general, not just wrestling. He was 26 years old and is survived by his young son and family. Here, TWV pays tribute to Jive Nyce, someone who will not be forgotten anytime soon.
