August 6, 2005 Show:
After four months, The Wrestling Crossfire finally returned to the air waves with a blockbuster show. To start off the show, Doug Nunnally delivered some big news about the future of the show. From there, the mailroom questions were answered with topics ranging from ECW to the Matt Hardy situation to the IWC overall.
After that, the topic shifted to the recent success of TNA with their TV Deal with Spike TV, which quickly evolved until an all out discussion or rant on TNA's potential, problems, triumphs, and more. After that, TWC shifted from one side of the spectrum to the other as they talked about the hirings and firings of WWE lately from people like the Mexicools and Brock Lesnar to the Dudley Boyz and Charlie Haas. The topic also evoled to something more as a general consensus on all of wrestling, not just WWE.
Next, Cole Cash returned to the TWC air waves for his first interview since February of this year. Cole and Doug talked about many topics including his return from injury, his current push, his opinion on the current product of WWE & TNA, his view on the NOAH Destiny show, match of the year contender by him, his view on his best friend getting a NJPW deal, and a lot more. This interview certainly proved why Cole Cash won "Best Interview of the Year" in TheWrestlingVoice.com's first annual awards.
To end out the show, TWC gaves its viewers a present forstaying with the show after all this time: a contest to win a free Ring of Honor DVD. To particpate in the contest, just listen to the show and listen to the instructions and enter yourself. The winner of the ROH DVD will be announced on the August 13th show. TWC then featured some talk about TheWrestlingVoice.com followed by news for upcoming shows.
From the TNA/WWE discussion to the contest to the mailroom to the Cole Cash interview to even the new direction of the show, the return show of The Wrestling Crossfire was a great one. What are you waiting for? Download it to see just what will be said next!
