After missing Saturday's show due to a DVR problem and not seeing SmackDown!, The Wrestling Crossfire returned Sunday for a jam-packed double show full of discussion spanning all wrestling from Japan to America, from Jeff Jarrett to Val Venis, and from WWE all the way down to Pro Wrestling Guerilla. Kicking off the show, host Doug Nunnally took a huge trip to the TWC Mailroom and answered all the listener's questions on topics ranging from who should be champ, the next breakout star, ROH on national TV, dream matches, and more! From here, Doug did a complete preview of tonight's WWE Vengeance PPV headlined by Rob Van Dam versus Edge for the WWECW Championship. Doug ran down all the matches on the card and talked about the build-up, predicted winners, predicted match quality, and where WWE can and/or probably will go from here. To finish up the show, Doug gave information on future shows as always and also announced the three winners for the current contests from the June 18th episode of The Wrestling Crossfire. In addition to all this, as it was Sunday, all songs played on the show were song request by you listeners!
