T’was the night before Christmas,
And just like last year,
Vinnie Mac and his crew
Wanted to spread some good cheer.
So they boarded a plane
Final destination unknown,
To serve up diversion
For those far from home.
It’s hard on these folks,
They have families too,
But they put others first
Just to say “We thank you.”
You see, it’s important
For each soldier to know
That they are deserving
Of a really good show.
And which ones decided
To Iraq they would go?
Well now, let’s see,
Charlie Haas and Guerrero,
Undertaker, The Big Show, Kurt Angle and Reigns,
Heidenreich and Mark Jindrak, they all got the gains
Of seeing some smiles out there in the crowd,
And hearing the yelling from those they had wowed.
Hardcore Holly and Booker,
Electric Rey-Rey,
And our Champ, JBL,
Looks like he’s here to stay.
Even Mick Foley
Abandoned Raw this one time,
And moved over to SmackDown!,
Hey, that’s sure no crime.
He wanted to share
In this little trip,
Because he was sure
This was one he’d not skip.
Of course there were Divas.
To name but a few,
Dawn Marie, Torrie Wilson,
And Miss Jackie, too.
Oh, they came under fire
On one of those days,
But there was no running
And all of them stayed.
For the WWE knows
That for those that are there
Day in and day out,
And don’t show their fear,
Are our heroes for sure
And we can’t forget
That these men and these women
Are not finished yet.
So whether it’s wrong
Or whether it’s right,
God bless all our soldiers,
And to all, a good night.
